The Blackberry or Baby?
Wow, it’s no new news that as a society we are becoming more and more technology based. This article (and video) talks about how adults are surpassing their younger counter parts in time on their electronic toys, specifically, their blackberry / iphones. So, who will win, the blackberry or baby?
Sherry Turkle, director of MIT’s Initiative on Technology and Self, has studied the effect of technology on children and parenting. “After five years and 300 interviews, she has found that feelings of hurt, jealousy and competition are widespread,” the New York Times reports.
